Community members have consistently voiced their eagerness to give back to the project and now this option has been made available through a charitable drive for autism awareness. Yeahlight will be pushing for five hundred (500) programming hours between May 11th, 2009 and August 24th, 2009. Community members may donate any denomination greater than or equal to one cent (1¢ USD) per programming hour completed by Yeahlight between said time frame and of raised funds will be donated to the Autism Society of America. All hours and progress are currently tracked at Yeahlight's blog and a complete list of committed donators is currently displayed here.
The sum of all donations, up to $1,000.00 USD, will be matched by Yeahlight.

Each participant in this drive will be sending their donation directly to the Autism Society of America, thus fully eligible for a US tax refund. This website is not collecting any money from its community.
